Trump's nomination of Scott Pruitt to head the Environmental Protection Agency has been called "an unmitigated disaster" for the planet. Pruitt has dedicated his professional career to undermining protections for our water, air and climate and wants to effectively dismantle the EPA. He does not believe in climate change and thinks that fracking is no problem for drinking water (or earthquakes). If approved by the Senate, Pruitt could dramatically roll back decades worth of environmental progress. We cannot let that happen!
Please take the following actions to try to convince the Senate to vote NO on Pruitt's nomination.

Please oppose the nomination of Scott Pruitt to lead the Environmental Protection Agency. Climate change is one of the most urgent challenges facing our society today and Mr. Pruitt will undo important regulations necessary to fight climate change. Mr. Pruitt also opposes regulations that protect clear air and water. Please pledge to vote NO on his appointment.

The plan is to disband EPA. There is already a bill introduced.
